I nominated her because she has been at the forefront of change during her more than 30 years practicing law,” Markell said. “I would like to thank the Senate for their endorsement of her ability and experience.” Streett received her undergraduate and law school degrees from Cornell University. When the Governor announced her nomination earlier this month, Streett said: “I have spent my career trying to make a difference in the lives of others.
